Referrals play a vital role in the recruiting process and we are looking to integrate these to the Proof-of-Talent protocol.
What we think lacks in generic, web2 referrals is that they are hard to verify, are usually vague and without particular context. Referrers are not usually liable for what they say in these types of referrals.
In our imagination, referrals should be able to verify easily and should live on-chain. Having a little staking to referrals wouldn’t be bad for guaranteeing honesty and encouraging these referrals to have a particular purpose, eg. aiming to get a new job for the referred person.
